wordpress makes you money Should I Use Wordpress For My Business Website?

I should preface this by saying we’re a WordPress firm and that almost all of our websites are made in WordPress. We feel that strongly about the platform.

Back in the old days… my old days… early 2000’s—getting a website made in a flexible platform such as WordPress (which was still in its infancy) wasn’t really possible for the everyday person. For those of us that did web design, we had to code a website in just HTML—uphill both ways. Not that this isn’t still a viable option for some but with the advent of websites needed a constant stream of updated content—having to solely rely on someone who knows HTML seems almost archaic.

WordPress allows users to write pages and blog posts almost as easily as writing an email. Of course depending on how awesome your web developer is (hi.), you can get a website that’s so easy to edit, you won’t ever have to worry again about your website needs.

Note: We’re still awesome and would love to help you do stuff for your website. Don’t forget about us after we launch it for you!

Here’s 4 more reasons you should have a WordPress business website:

1. CMS (Content Management System)

Updating your website for free just sounds wonderful. Using a simple login, you can manage almost any section of your website in a snap! If you’ve sent an email, you can edit your WordPress website. Who needs that fancy coding anyway?

2. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Getting your business to show up on Google is always going to be the #1 concern for business owners. Heck, most of the time, you just want a website for appearing there. WordPress by nature is optimized for SEO and with some a little help from the pros (hi.), your website can get zooming up the rankings! Plus there’s a million plugins you can use to help you really dig your teeth into optimizing your website further.

3. Blogging! O-M-G

Writing is the new black and because of that, you’re going to need to get your business updating a blog regularly. Consumers are looking to see that a business cares enough to update and present a voice to them. If you’re a painting company, I want to know about some of your latest jobs and what goes into them. You can easily start leveraging it to leap over your competitors.

4. Plugins

Want a twitter feed to appear on the site? Done. Need a gallery for that one page with the cute shoes your selling? Done! Want to add glowing testimonials about how awesome your business is? Maybe not for this… KIDDING, it’s DONE!

Plugins are easy to upload and install and even easier to use. They allow you to upgrade your website even further and give yourself more tools to use.

If you’re looking for a website to just mess around with—you can use WordPress.com but if you’re serious about your website and business—we’d love to help you setup your dream website.
